Question: What to do when the cuckoo of the clock cuckoos 30 mins ahead of hour? at 11:30 it cuckoos 12. please answer.?

The mechanism for how many times it cuckoos is separate from the mechanism that keeps the time. They are usually synchronized. You can patiently try moving the hand back and forth 23 times past 1 minute to the hour and 1 minute past the hour until it rings the right number of times.

I like this problem; it could make a nice little story. However, to be serious I suggest you take your cuckoo clock to a clock repair person. Let your fingers do the walking, as they say, and call ahead to see if the repair person can deal with a cuckoo clock. Luck!

It is best to set the Cuckoo to Cuckoos 30 min. ahead. Like if you want to alarm it at 9:00, then set it at 8:30. If you don't like my advice then replace your clock with a new one... :D

Although he spindle that rotates the hands is correct the set of the hands are not, to cure this, just re adjust the hands till the time and the cuckoo are in sync.
